WE'RE HOME!

Well we're home! We just spent 10 days on the East Coast in the D.C., Virginia, and North Carolina area visiting our state capitol and spending time with family (many of whom we haven't seen in several years!). It was our first "real" vacation in at least 7 years and we enjoyed every minute of it...it ended way too soon. :-(
"Are we there yet?"
Was actually a question we did not hear! Both boys were great travelers (Thank goodness).
I think the DVD player helped tremendously.

Virginia Welcome Center
My Husband and I have always hit the travel centers when we traveled before and we carried the tradition over here. Virginia has beautiful travel centers with well ordered visitor's pamphlets seperated by regions. I could have spent a month exploring the state.

To prove we were here!
Me too!

The other way to pass the time.
Virginia is a long 2 day drive from our house, but it was worth it. The weather was beautiful, but unfortunately the roads were full! I hated driving and my Husband actually did 90% of it on the trip. My job was reading to him in the car (when I wasn't napping!)

We make a great team and this trip showed us how well we work together as a family.
I am blessed.
